The Northern Rangelands Trust is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to develop resilient community conservancies in northern Kenya which transform people’s lives, secure peace and conserve natural resources. Wild Communications has been working with NRT for 5 years now, and our partnership is only getting stronger as NRT expands. In early 2013 we launched NRT’s new website giving it a fresh new look. We updated the content with high quality professional photographs and maps, re-written features and new pages. Around the same time we launched the website, we designed and published NRT’s 5 year strategic plan, a factsheet about the Trust, and a 45 page booklet on ‘the story of NRT’. Building a database of over 2,000 people, we now write and publish NRT’s monthly e-newsletter, named The Drum. We track the outreach of The Drum using Campaign Monitor, a email marketing application that delivers reports and statistics. NRT’s presence on social media is growing too, with regular posts on the Facebook page we have grown NRT’s Facebook fan base by over 1,000 people in just 8 months.
